Materials That Stand Up to Use

When it comes to indoor railings, material choice is about longevity and strength. We don't bother with low-quality options that will need repairs in a few years. We primarily work with two types of materials: solid wood and metal. For wood, we recommend hardwoods like oak or maple because they resist dings, scratches, and wear. They provide a classic look and a sturdy feel that you can rely on.

Metal railings, particularly wrought iron or steel, offer maximum durability. They are a practical choice for modern and traditional homes alike, requiring minimal maintenance and providing unmatched strength. We ensure all metal components are properly welded and finished to prevent issues down the line. We'll help you pick the right material for your home's traffic and style, but our priority is always function over fleeting trends.

Our Installation Process

A railing is only as good as its installation. Our process is straightforward and focuses on creating a secure, rigid structure. We start by assessing your existing staircase and support structures to identify the strongest possible mounting points. We don't take shortcuts with hardware; we use heavy-duty fasteners and anchors to connect posts directly to the framing of your house. This prevents the wobbling and loosening that often happens with improper installations.

Every post is set, every spindle is attached, and every handrail is secured to meet Ontario Building Code standards for height, spacing, and load-bearing capacity. We work efficiently to minimize disruption in your home and clean up thoroughly once the job is complete. You're left with a safe, dependable railing system that's built for the long haul.

★★★★★

"Very fast efficient and cost effective company. I recommend them highly for flooring needs. Laminate in my case. Excellent communications, best ever: from their project manager to their operating team, we were exchanging messages frequently at 9 or 10 PM on a week end. If you hire them make sure to ask them to cover your walls: as they work fast you have to expect your walls to be dirty . My white walls showed signs of jeans and clothes passing through. Not a big deal to clean but still had to do it ."

"My project was a little over 1000 sq ft of hardwood flooring, 350 ft of baseboard trim, 350 feet of door stop and 10 sq ft of tile in front of a fireplace. Upon completion, the rooms looked fabulous for 2 reasons. One was the natural warmth and elegance of wood flooring and secondly, the workmanship of Rudy and his crew. The quality and professionalism of the job was no more evident then where the tile and wood met. The tile was raised to the level of the wood thickness and the 2 met each other at an odd angle. The transition between the 2 surfaces was seamless and flawless and no transition pieces were required to hide any shortcomings. I was most impressed with this part of the job as only an experienced professional would do such a perfect job. In addition, Rudy and his crew were very courteous and cleaned up the mess after each days work. Even though I invited them to bring their saws and cutters indoors because it was cold, they insisted on doing this part of the job outdoor to minimise the mess in my home. I would definitely recommend Rudy and his crew to anyone seeking to have their flooring done. He is reasonably priced and offers quality work in exchange. Thanks Rudy and crew. Great Job."
