Laminate flooring is tough, but it's not invincible. Daily life inside your home takes a toll. We've seen it all and can fix most common indoor laminate issues, so you don't have to look at an ugly floor. This includes deep scratches from moving furniture, gouges from dropped objects, and chips along the edges of planks that catch your socks. We also deal with bubbling or swelling, which is usually caused by a spill that sat too long near a seam. Another frequent problem is plank separation, where gaps appear between boards due to shifting or a bad installation. We handle these jobs with the right tools and techniques to make the floor solid and look good again.
Our process is straightforward and effective. First, we assess the damage to see how many planks are affected and determine the best approach. The goal is always to isolate the repair to the damaged area to save you money and disruption. If you have leftover planks from the original installation, that's ideal. If not, we're skilled at sourcing the closest possible match or, in some cases, carefully removing a plank from a hidden area like a closet. The tricky part is removing the damaged plank without disturbing the surrounding floor. It's a precise job that requires cutting out the old board, cleaning the subfloor, and properly fitting and securing the new plank. We make sure the replacement sits flush and the locking mechanism is engaged correctly for a seamless, durable finish that you can walk on.
Those wax sticks and filler pens from the hardware store are a temporary patch at best. They don't hold up to cleaning or foot traffic and rarely match the sheen and texture of your floor. The result is often an obvious, discoloured spot that draws more attention to the problem. A professional repair involves replacing the entire damaged plank. This restores both the structural integrity and the original appearance of your floor. It's the only way to get a repair that actually lasts. Don't waste your weekend on a fix that will fail in a few months. Give us a call at (647) 898-7839 and we'll handle it correctly from the start.

"My project was a little over 1000 sq ft of hardwood flooring, 350 ft of baseboard trim, 350 feet of door stop and 10 sq ft of tile in front of a fireplace. Upon completion, the rooms looked fabulous for 2 reasons. One was the natural warmth and elegance of wood flooring and secondly, the workmanship of Rudy and his crew. The quality and professionalism of the job was no more evident then where the tile and wood met. The tile was raised to the level of the wood thickness and the 2 met each other at an odd angle. The transition between the 2 surfaces was seamless and flawless and no transition pieces were required to hide any shortcomings. I was most impressed with this part of the job as only an experienced professional would do such a perfect job. In addition, Rudy and his crew were very courteous and cleaned up the mess after each days work. Even though I invited them to bring their saws and cutters indoors because it was cold, they insisted on doing this part of the job outdoor to minimise the mess in my home. I would definitely recommend Rudy and his crew to anyone seeking to have their flooring done. He is reasonably priced and offers quality work in exchange. Thanks Rudy and crew. Great Job."

With so many incapable installers out there, you just never know who to trust. Rudy was professional and prompt from the start. They showed up when promised and started working without delay. They nailed and used adhesive where necessary. I am very impressed with their skill and attention to detail and would recommend them to anyone. Thank you Delight Flooring and I look forward to my second floor hardwood installation."
