Carpet wrinkles and bubbles aren't just an eyesore; they're a problem. It usually means the initial installation wasn't done with the right tools, or the carpet has settled and loosened over time. These issues create dangerous trip hazards and cause the carpet to wear out faster. Instead of replacing a whole room of otherwise good carpet, we can fix it. Our stretching and repair service is a practical solution that saves you time and money.Carpet Stretching & Repair

Why Does Carpet Get Loose?

Most of the time, carpet develops ripples because it wasn't power-stretched during installation. A knee kicker alone just isn't enough to get it properly taut. Over time, factors like heavy foot traffic, moving furniture, and even high humidity can cause a poorly installed carpet to relax and buckle. Once a wrinkle appears, it only gets worse as people walk on it, further stressing the carpet backing and creating more slack.

Our Carpet Repair Process

We do the job right so it doesn't have to be done again. For carpet stretching, we use a power stretcher. This tool allows us to grip the carpet and pull it drum-tight from wall to wall, the way it should have been from day one. We then trim the excess carpet and properly secure it back onto the tack strips. This process completely removes the wrinkles and ensures they don't come back. There's no shortcut to a durable fix.

Types of Damage We Fix

Our work goes beyond just stretching. We handle common indoor carpet problems that can make a room look worn out. This includes fixing seams that have split or frayed, which often happens in high-traffic doorways. We can also perform bonded inserts, or 'patches,' to repair small areas with permanent stains, burns, or other physical damage. If you have leftover carpet from the installation, we can use that for a perfect match. If not, we can often take a small piece from an unseen area like the back of a closet. The goal is always a lasting, professional repair. Contact us at (647) 898-7839 to discuss your project.

"Great experience, workers were reliable, constant open communication regarding progress of the jobs. Fair market pricing I always get multiple quotes for projects so I know the pricing was competitive. Pleasant to work with and accommodating. Quick to return calls and e-mails. Will have Rudy back to install another job later this year in 2014."

"Rudy and his assistant, Mo, worked very hard to complete our stair project on time and on budget. They did not complain or come back to us with updated quotes or other issues. We are very pleased with the final result and have received many compliments on our new staircase. To add a touch of class, we offered them water from our garage fridge and to our surprise, they replaced the water they used at the end of the week. It was a very nice (but unnecessary) thing to do. Our only issue in the end was that some of the nails were still visible on the quarter round used to finish the trim work and there were a few blemishes on the stairs we had to touch up. These were very minor and ultimately, we couldn't be happier with the completed project. We would definitely recommend Rudy and his Team."
