Proper baseboard installation requires more than just a saw and a nail gun. It demands precision. We ensure every piece is measured and cut accurately for a tight fit, especially in corners where angles are rarely a perfect 90 degrees. We use the right tools to create seamless joints that won't separate over time. This prevents the common DIY issues like visible gaps, uneven lines, and trim that pulls away from the wall.
Our method is straightforward. First, we remove and dispose of your old trim. We then take precise measurements of the room, accounting for any irregularities in the walls. After cutting the new baseboards with professional miter saws, we fit them into place, ensuring every joint is tight and clean. Each piece is secured with both adhesive and finishing nails for a durable bond that won't budge. We finish by caulking the top edge for a seamless look and filling nail holes so it's ready for paint.
We work with the two main types of baseboard material. Primed MDF (Medium-Density Fiberboard) is the standard for most homes. It's affordable, stable, and comes ready to paint. For homeowners wanting a stained wood grain look, we install solid pine or oak. Both are solid choices, but MDF offers the best value and durability for a painted finish. We can help you decide what makes the most sense for your house and budget.

"Rudy is amazing and hasn't let me down yet. We all know how hard it can be dealing with contractors these days. They promise the moon but don't deliver. With Rudy, things are very different. If he promises, he will deliver. I have gotten 3 projects done with Rudy. There were nominal delays but Rudy is very professional and communicative. The first one was hardwood for about 800 sqft, the second one was hardwood for 1000 sqft and the third one was over 1500 sqft plus stairs. There were some problems with the stairs and Rudy was out of the country for a long time. However, as soon as he came back, he came to my house and fixed it, no charge."
Customer of Delight Flooring • 23 Sep 2019 • HomeStars"Pleasure to deal with from start to finish. Very clear communication and prompt response throughout the process between Rudy and I. The install crew (Sam and "Monsiour" Ali) are hard working, super nice and very flexible. The job was in our new condo and on the last day, the service elevator went out. The crew did a great job cleaning up and disposing of my old baseboards/carpet with the limited elevator access. My new flooring looks great. Great job guys."

They did not complain or come back to us with updated quotes or other issues. We are very pleased with the final result and have received many compliments on our new staircase. To add a touch of class, we offered them water from our garage fridge and to our surprise, they replaced the water they used at the end of the week. It was a very nice (but unnecessary) thing to do. Our only issue in the end was that some of the nails were still visible on the quarter round used to finish the trim work and there were a few blemishes on the stairs we had to touch up. These were very minor and ultimately, we couldn't be happier with the completed project. We would definitely recommend Rudy and his Team."
